sees Koby team up with Minta Rasiya, a Tabla virtuoso, and Oren Marshall, Tuba player extraordinaire. As well as reinterpreting a selection of songs from Koby’s many albums, this exciting venture features exclusive new material, written specifically for the project. Played with outstanding flair, the multi-layered music is filled with humor and eccentricity, expressing its own unique vitality. Previously recorded with a much larger ensemble, the trio still retain all the elements of the original pieces, giving the music a much more intimate feel. With the many influences of the album ranging from contemporary Jazz to Balkan Gypsy music, the skill set of each individual musician is exquisitely showcased.
