The Koby Israelite & Oren Marshall Duo:
Koby team up with Oren, a pioneering virtuoso player of acoustic and electric tuba who mixes the genres of Classical, Jazz, World, Funk and Improv.. Marshall has collaborated with the likes of Bobby McFerrin, Derek Bailey, Radiohead, Charlie Haden, the Pan-African Orchestra and the London Philharmonic.The Duo showcases these two unique musicians, joining forces to create an original show, playing compositions from their mutual catalogues as well as music that was composed specifically for the Duo. Using both elements of live sampling and looping within the act the sound is as complex and layered as a full band at times, whilst retaining the intimacy that only this innovative pairing can offer.
